In depth: Build
Even if we haven't helped you through the planning stage, we can share our experience of delivering feature-rich social media solutions with you and build a community site with a comprehensive feature set designed around delivering maximum ROI in the shortest possible time.
Open Source
If you've looked into adopting content management or social media technology, you'll have found both proprietary and Open Source platforms offering a huge range of features. We believe that Open Source software, which is developed by a community of people around the globe and offered to you licence-free to use as you wish. Lower cost of entry is just the start though; you'll also benefit from a huge range of contributed modules, a substantial support community and fast access to new functionality.
Drupal
Not all Open Source platforms are equal. We spent many months reviewing and testing Open Source social media and content management software, looking for the best blend of functionality, performance, interoperability and community tools. Drupal, a widely adopted platform known by thousands as the community publishing platform, fitted the bill then, and it fits the bill today.
The build process
Taking the outcomes of your planning, whether that is our own workshop-based method or your own process, we kick off the build process with a Rapid Planning Session which is used to familiarise our delivery team with your objectives, and to help us understand what success looks like. We'll move quickly into a lightweight review of key functionality to ensure that all the most critical areas are understood, and finally we'll agree a build plan with you that gives you regular visibility of progress and keeps you in direct contact with the people who are building your community for you.
Quality
We know that you'll expect a high-quality product to come out of the build process, and our quality and release team are skilled in testing both for functionality and also for usability and accessibility, ensuring that you meet the necessary standards and provide your audience with the best possible experience.
