I can’t imagine a scenario where I’m spending most of my time policing my community members. And it kind of saddens me when I hear community managers talk about policing their communities and social media spaces. What a bummer for your members, contacts and staff. To me this indicates several possible issues:
The environment is unhealthy (or underage… which is of course, not a problem, but a whole other scenario)
The space hasn’t been set up the right way: the culture wasn’t established...

Community Champions are those members who are the most active and whom you have officially appointed to be volunteer leaders within your community. You may call them Advocates, Volunteers, Leaders, Mentors or a number of other names. SiftGroups calls them Champions.
