Picture of Nick Torday

Account Director

Nick's role within SiftGroups is to head up all our work with the third sector, looking after our extensive roster of charity and NGO clients. Nick champions charities within the agency, is the strategic lead on all our charity accounts and also runs Because It's Good (www.becauseitsgood.org) a contributory community for digital specialists in the sector.

Prior to working for Sift Groups, Nick spent 7 years running digital teams in the charity sector, for Breast Cancer Care and The Princess Royal Trust for Carers as well as doing consultancy work for a variety of NGOs such as Merlin and Medical Aid for Palestinians. He also spent a period of time living in Ramallah, Palestine working for a Palestinian health organisation.

Prior to working for charities, Nick was part of the online team at Centrica that built and launched British Gas’ flagship e-Commerce website house.co.uk. He has two daughters and is a keen, if not particularly talented, surfer.

A community for the third sector

A third of our clients are UK charities, so we're proud to support Because It's Good. It's a place for people using digital communications within the third sector to share ideas, insight and opinion, and it's rapidly gaining a reputation as a thriving contributory community.
