Senior Community Manager

Elena is a Senior Community Manager, and is part of the digital strategy team at SiftGroups.

Most recently she has managed Talk about Autism, a community for parents, carers and people on the autism spectrum to talk about how autism impacts on their lives. It was set up by Ambitious about Autism, the national charity for children and young people with autism.

She’s also a Community Mentor, providing bespoke mentoring and coaching for community managers in all stages of the community lifecycle.

And she runs a few of our Online Community Training courses where organisations bring staff together to learn all about community engagement, using social media, working with volunteers - and to get a little practice finding their voice in an online environment.

Originally from a cultural anthropology background, Elena is interested in human interaction online – establishing rituals and relationships, connecting individuals together, and encouraging collaboration between organisations and their community.
