We’re expanding the team

SiftGroups provide social media consultancy services and technologies to enable organisations to develop and sustain rewarding relationships with their audiences.  We work with publishers, membership bodies, charities and the public sector, enabling our clients to build rewarding relationships with their audiences, whether that’s through member retention or simply outright profit.

As we head in to the final quarter of 2009, we’re looking very busy already, so with that in mind we’re expanding the technical team!  We’re recruiting for a couple of new roles, both of which will be based in our brand new offices in Bristol. 

Head of technical

We’re looking for someone who will be able to take responsibility for the technical aspects of all projects and ongoing client work.  You’ll need to be able to lead our technical team in providing the most appropriate solution every time – balancing commercial acumen with a huge technical talent.  We’ll be looking to you to make efficiency / process improvements to help the team in delivering optimum results.  You'll need 6+ years experience working in a technial environment, with excellent knowledge of PHP, and preferably some experience of Drupal (though not essential).

You’ll also need to be involved in the sales process – comfortable in a client-facing role,  both discussing technical solutions with clients and the internal client-facing team, as well as helping with proposal writing and responses to tenders. 

Great communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must, as is the right attitude to getting on and getting the job done and delivered. 

Drupal developer

We’re looking to add a further developer into our existing team, to work on our latest joint venture, FinReg21: http://www.finreg21.com/ You’ll need previous PHP, XHTML and CSS experience, preferably with experience of working on the Drupal platform (version 5).
